The networking team at CraftyClicks is pleased to announce that the planned server upgrade has now been completed. On 5 December 2008 our website and the address lookup server moved to their new home at a London data centre. Access to the lookup service was not interrupted during the move. The URLs remain the same.

The move was necessary as our existing platform was running at near capacity and lookup response times deteriorated significantly in November. Our new lookup server has ample spare capacity and lookup times are now consistently below 50ms at most times.

Subject to the local DNS response times, the total time to fetch and present a result from our address finder web service should now be less then a second.
