Street level vs premise level

Premise level data (available via RapidAddress and FlexiAddress) gives the full address details for all delivery points in a postcode. Information would include all available house names and/or numbers as well as detail such as company name where applicable.

BasicAddress gives street level data, also known as thoroughfare level. The user then needs to manually supply a house name or number to complete the address.

BasicAddress is based on the Part PAF from Royal Mail (Postcode Address File). It the most reliable and up to date source of postcode and address information in the UK.
